Maps showing different interpretations of the Brazilian-Paraguayan border. Paraguayan historian Efraim Cardozo produced the first map in Los derechos del Paraguay sobre los Saltos del Guairá (Asunción, 1965). A mixed Paraguayan-Brazilian commission produced the second map sometime during the border crisis. On this second map, the upper line shows Paraguay’s interpretation of the border and the lower line, Brazil’s.
